Sarah’s notes on Pizza Dough
For this you can either make your own dough (the method is in the recipe below) OR just use shop-bought.
If you do decide to make your own, don’t be tempted to leave the salt out of the recipe. I know it seems like a lot, but you really do need it to make the flavour work.
If you’re making this recipe with kids, let them choose their toppings and really get involved.
All of the usual pizza topping favourites work well in these Pizza Rolls, but don’t over-stuff them as they become a bit tricky to roll.

The recipe was confusing
Hello, thanks for the recipe! We have just made these.
I will freeze some, but can I ask when we want to have the frozen ones do we reheat from frozen or defrost first? Ours have ham, cheese and corn in.
Thanks for you time x
Really tasty! My sister likes to bring pizza rolls as part of her lunch so we thought we would have a go making our own rather than buying them from the bakery – they didn’t take long to make and came out really well! We will definitely be making more and experimenting with different toppings in future
verry much yum and i also LOVE kids
These are amazing! My children love them. Such a quick and easy snack. One question-can I freeze them?
We’ve made pizza at home a couple of times. I love the swirl idea. Makes it look so much more fun! x
This looks amazing! These look perfect for snacking!
Sarah, love this recipe AND love getting kids into the kitchen! My most treasured childhood memories are in the kitchen with mother and grandmothers.
LOVE these!
I’m making these for my bake sale as the savoury option – and then people can buy more cake! *evil laugh*
