This latest family meal plan includes the introduction of THREE brand new recipes for you to try, as well as two old favourites.
These dinners include quick wins, a slow cooker saviour and new flavour combinations. Mix and match them for the days that most suit your family schedule!
We’re trying out a few new flavours this week to keep life interesting. These healthy, easy and delicious dinners are suitable for the whole family and I think there might be a few you’ll be repeating over and over again!
From a brand new trusty slow cooker curry recipe to a wonderful new one-pot pasta (always a hit with the kids), we’re also trying out a new gnocchi dish (LOVE) and a couple of old popular classics (Courgette Fritters and Yuk Sung).
I’ll be sharing this meal plan on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, so watch out for the videos so you can cook along.
For reference, I shopped for this Meal Plan in June 2023 at Aldi and it cost £35.16

Some tips for using a family meal planner:
➡️ Check for any items on the shopping list that you already have in your cupboard.
➡️ Maybe think about doubling up and freezing a recipe or two where the recipes are suitable, so save cooking another day or for the weekend.
➡️ Remove ingredients for any meals that you don’t want to cook.
➡️ The shopping list includes the cheapest version of each ingredient. Obviously if you want to buy lower fat mince or free range etc, that’s personal choice.
➡️ All of the recipes are to serve 4, so if you’re cooking for 2, simply halve the ingredients.
Weekly Meal Ideas: The Recipes
Dinner 1
⭐️ A BRAND NEW one pot recipe.
⭐️ A rich, smoky, hearty bowl of deliciousness, ready in about 30 minutes.
BBQ Chicken Pasta {One Pan}
Dinner 2
⭐️ A vegetarian favourite – perfect for freezing leftovers.
⭐️ Serve with Jacket Potatoes (on the shopping list).
⭐️ If you are using our shopping list we have included brown onions rather than red, but use red if you already have them. We also shopped at Aldi this week which doesn’t sell fresh dill – it really is worth going to another supermarket for – I promise!
Easy Courgette Fritters {with Feta Cheese}
Dinner 3
⭐️ Super simple slow cooker curry.
⭐️ Serve with rice (on the shopping list – share with a side for Dinner 5).
⭐️ If you have shopped from our shopping list there will be ingredients to make up a super speedy dip to serve alongside this (and increase your veg count) – finely chop fresh mint and cucumber and mix with leftover greek yoghurt – simple and delicious!
Slow Cooker Chicken Korma {Easy Recipe}
Dinner 4
⭐️ Another veggie dish packed with flavour and goodness.
⭐️ All-in-one meal that’s ready in about 30 minutes.
Cheesy Baked Gnocchi {with Broccoli}
Dinner 5
⭐️ A delicious and quick fakeaway – that’s actually healthy!
⭐️ Serve with rice (on the shopping list – share with a side for Dinner 3).
⭐️ This recipe calls for 2-3 little gem lettuces as cups for the pork – if you are using our shopping list I have included a pack of 2, this is very dependant on size, so buy more if they are small. We haven’t shopped for chillies to go on top so add these if you like a little extra heat.
Easy Pork Yuk Sung {Chinese Lettuce Wraps}
