As always we’re creating a combo of easy family meals for a week and we’ve got a super budget-friendly meal plan for you.
Most are so simple, some are speedy, and ALL are totally delicious! That’s the diner thinking done for another week, then..
Another brand new weekly meal plan is here! You know the drill – 5 dinners, for 4 people and the total bill for this one is under £30. 🤩
As always, there’s loads of variety and there’s a strong focus on convenience, but despite this we’ve still got curry, pasta, a stir-fry and a pie! Hope you love it.
I’ll be sharing this meal plan on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, so watch out for the videos so you can cook along.
For reference, I shopped for this Meal Plan in May 2023 at Aldi and it cost £28.20.
Why use a weekly food planner?
⭐️ Knowing exactly what food to buy for avoids food waste, saving you money.
⭐️ Having a plan for dinner each night avoids the mental load of “what’s for dinner?” questions every night.

Some tips for using a family meal planner:
➡️ Check for any items on the shopping list that you already have in your cupboard.
➡️ Maybe think about doubling up and freezing a recipe or two where the recipes are suitable, so save cooking another day or for the weekend.
➡️ Remove ingredients for any meals that you don’t want to cook.
➡️ The shopping list includes the cheapest version of each ingredient. Obviously if you want to buy lower fat mince or free range etc, that’s personal choice.
➡️ All of the recipes are to serve 4, so if you’re cooking for 2, simply halve the ingredients.

⭐️ An old school dinner classic that’s hearty and satisfying.
⭐️ We have included cheddar on the shopping list for the topping here, but you could use whatever you have left at home.
⭐️ Serve with peas on the shopping list as a side.
Cowboy Pie {Mash-Topped Sausage & Beans}

⭐️ This recipe uses 1kg chicken thighs, you may want to use more to ensure that everyone gets two each – they often vary in the number in the pack.
