Let’s spend Sunday getting ready for the week ahead! Here’s the third of my new end of the week meal prep plan for those of us juggling real family life. Use as much or as little as you like, but I hope it helps 🧡

It’s now Week 3 of my Sunday Setup Series – doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun?!

Here we show you how a little meal prep at the weekend to help you out during the week.

Why? Because getting ahead can often lead to healthier, delicious and satisfying meals being served.

It also saves loads of precious time!

See what we featured in Week 1 and Week 2 of our Sunday Setup guides.

What I MADE

I am not suggesting we should prep for every single meal here, but every little helps when it comes to getting ahead.

This week we’ll be including tips for:

⭐️ Breakfasts for the week to save precious time in the morning

⭐️ Snacks that are perfect for lunches or after school

⭐️ A sweet treat for an easy treat

⭐️ Soup for a lunch or light dinner that can easily be batch cooked for another week too

⭐️ A fruit salad for breakfast, snack or dessert

⭐️ One base meal that you can turn into 3 different dinners

Sunday SETUP tips:

➡️ Double up the portion of soup you make and put the surplus in the freezer for another week

➡️ I use these meal prep glass containers from Amazon to keep food stored in, and this sectioned platter is ideal for all your chopped vegetables

➡️ For freshness, most prepped food will keep fine in the fridge for 3-4 days, otherwise most items can be frozen instead

➡️ Notes on storing, freezing, defrosting and reheating should be in each individual recipe, or in the notes below

➡️ Everything in the FREE shopping list is what you need to prepare for the meals below

Useful tools for the job

Base Meal x3

⭐️ You could make a big batch of this Slow Cooker Bolognese for a variety of different meals in the week if you like

⭐️ Meal 1: Serve as Bolognese Loaded Fries – I actually used frozen chips here as was very short on time but it would be much better with homemade chips.

⭐️ Meal 3: Serve it as a bolognese ‘pie’ with a mashed potato topping.

⭐️ STORING: This will keep fine in the fridge for 3-4 days, but you can also freeze it into portions too

  1. Just did my prep for the week. I had uncooked cookies in the freezer from last week, so just had to bake those. I made apple sauce for breakfast topping, but will do overnight oats as we need them. Banana bread & butternut squash for the cake & soup.
Took me 3hrs this week, & that included a fridge sort & clean. So getting faster!
