Take each potato and prick well with a fork. Rub with oil and salt and wrap completely in tin foil.
8 hours on LOW or HIGH for 5 hours.

Wrap in foil: I would recommend wrapping the potatoes in foil for the best results. I have tried slow cooking them both with and without foil, and while they’re fine without, I just found they didn’t cook as evenly and the potatoes did tend to stick together a littleTo crisp up: The skins don’t get very crispy in the slow cooker.
