Easy Fresh Salmon Burgers Recipe

These a perfect twist on a standard burger and packed full of salmon

Ingredients

  • 600 g Norwegian salmon fillet skinless and boneless
  • 1 teaspoon Curry powder
  • 3 teaspoon Cornflour
  • 1 teaspoon Flat leaf parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh Red Chilli deseeded and chopped
  • Salt
  • 1 medium free range Egg
  • 100 ml Milk semi skimmed
  • 300 ml Natural yoghurt
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • Lettuce tomato and buns to serve

Instructions

  • Cut the salmon into pieces and place in the food processor with the curry powder, cornflour, chilli, parsley and salt.
  • Add the egg and just enough milk to make a thick batter.
  • Pour the oil into a frying pan and heat.
  • Dollop the mixture into four patties in the frying pan.
  • Cook for about 8 - 10 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Meanwhile, for the tzatziki, grate the cucumber and garlic clove and mix with the natural yoghurt.
  • Serve in burger baps with lettuce and sliced tomatoes.
