Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Beef Noodles

This Honey Garlic Beef Noodles recipe is a delicious slow cooker take on a healthy midweek stir fry or a weekend fakeaway. So simple and so tasty.

Ingredients

  • 500 g Diced beef
  • 4 cloves Garlic Crushed
  • 1 tbsp Fresh ginger Grated
  • 8 tbsp Soy sauce Reduced salt
  • 5 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 6 tbsp Honey
  • 6 tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • 450 ml Boiling water
  • 250 g Dried noodles
  • 1 Green pepper Sliced
  • 160 g Sugar snap peas Halved

To serve:

  • Spring onions Chopped
  • 1-2 tbsp Sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Put the diced beef, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, ketchup, and 150ml of water into the slow cooker and stir well.
  • Place the lid on the cook on HIGH for 3.5 hours or LOW for 5.5 hours.
  • When the beef is tender, add the remaining 300ml of boiling water, the dried noodles, the sliced pepper and sugar snap peas to the slow cooker.
  • Stir everything together well, replace lid and cook until the noodles are just cooked, about 30 minutes. (You may need to stir as it cooks a couple of times.)
  • Serve with the spring onions and sesame seeds scattered over the top.

Notes

Meat:
Make this dish with diced pork shoulder or lamb if you want to try something different.
Thicken the sauce:
If you have too much sauce, don’t worry. Just can add 1 tbsp of cornflour mixed with 2 tbsp of water and stir through which will thicken it.
Veggie Boost:
You can add some extra vegetables with the noodles, such as baby sweetcorn or mangetout.
