Ingredients

  • 400 g Passata
  • 3 x 400 g Cans of cannellini beans Drained and rinsed | See notes
  • 200 g Smoked bacon Fry small pieces until crisp | See notes
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp Red wine vinegar
  • 4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tbsp Tomato puree
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Mix the ingredients together and add to the slow cooker.
  • Cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours or LOW for 5-6 hours.

Notes

Beans: 
You can use any kind of beans you prefer. I used 2x cannellini beans and 1x black beans
Bacon: 
You can leave this ingredient out if you want vegetarian baked beans. Just add 2tsp of smoked paprika to replace that smoky flavour.
