Honey BBQ Salmon
This is an easy salmon recipe that the whole family will love. Oven-bake or barbecue for a light, flavour-packed dish.

- 4 Salmon fillets Or one large piece, 500g - 600g
- Salt and pepper
For the sauce:
- 6 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 4 tbsp Runny honey
- 2 tsp Mustard powder
- 2 tbsp Dark brown sugar Or molasses/treacle if you have any
- 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar Or white wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp Water
Pre-heat the oven to 200C and line a baking tray.
Place all the ingredients for the sauce APART FROM THE WATER into a jug and mix well.
Place the salmon fillets on to the tray and brush with the sauce. Place in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until just cooked through.
Meanwhile, tip the remainder of the sauce with the water into a small saucepan and stir over a medium heat for 4-5 minutes until thickened.
Place the cooked salmon onto plates and divide the heated sauce over the top.
Notes:
You can cook this on a barbecue instead of oven if you want!
You can use this sauce on chicken breasts, thighs or wings too.
