Slow Cooker Salmon Recipe

This Slow Cooker Salmon recipe is part of my summery slow cooker collection. It’s so simple and great for making ahead for dinner parties or even just an easy family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 500 g Salmon See notes
  • 100 ml Water
  • 2 Lemons
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Line the bottom of your slow cooker with baking paper and place the salmon on top.
  • Pour the water around the edge of the salmon, squeeze the juice of one lemon over, add slices of the other lemon and salt and pepper.
  • Cook on HIGH for 1 hour or LOW for 2 hours.
  • Discard the water and serve.

Notes

Salmon: Your piece of fish can be as big as your slow cooker will allow. For this recipe I have used 500g
Serving suggestions: Salads, potatoes, rice, pasta, vegetables. Choose your favourites! 
Using frozen salmon: This is fine. Just remember to allow it to defrost thoroughly before you put it in the slow cooker
Baking paper: This helps you to lift the fish out of the slow cooker. It can break up otherwise
Leftovers: Cold salmon in sandwiches, a salad or pasta dish will be delicious. Store it in the fridge and keep it well covered for up to 3 days
